Here’s the up-to-date, consensus “sweet spot” for Boss Arunka (Light, Knight) based on current kit data and aggregated player builds.
What she does (why these builds work)
- Front-row redirect & CR push. At start of battle and end of each of her turns, if she’s in front, she gains Ferocious Stand (unique buff) that forces all single-target attacks to hit her; when hit, she gains Combat Readiness (base 20%, scales to 25% with skill-ups).
- DEF-scaling disruptor. S3 strips all buffs, applies 2-turn DEF Break, grants herself a barrier, and all damage/barrier scale with DEF. S1 also DEF Breaks; Soulburn triggers a dual attack from your highest ATK ally.
Optimal builds (pick 1 based on your team)
1) Counter Tank (most common, all-purpose)
- Sets: Counter / Immunity (most used by players today). Alternatives: Counter / Health or Counter / Defense.
- Artifacts (choose 1): Proof of Valor (maximum raw mitigation), Noble Oath (self-sustain/mitigation), M.O.A.S. (popular hybrid pick), Rocket Punch Gauntlet (more counters). Fribbels usage: MOAS ~30%, Rocket Punch ~24%, Noble Oath ~24%, Proof ~16%.
- Stat goals: DEF 2.6–3.2k, HP 22–28k, ER 100–150%, SPD 115–140, EFF 30–60% (to land DEF Breaks), with minimal Crit. These align with current Fribbels aggregates and RTA-derived targets for front-line versions.
2) Counter + Resist (anti-debuff anchor)
- Sets: Counter / Resist or Counter / Immunity + high ER.
- Artifacts: Proof of Valor or Noble Oath (lean tanky).
- Stat goals: DEF 2.7–3.2k, HP 20–26k, ER 160–220%, SPD 110–130, EFF ~30%. This variant is seeing play from early adopters to shrug off Unbuffable/Provoke and keep Ferocious Stand cycling.
3) Bruiser/Crit (aggressive pick)
- Sets: Speed / Crit or Crit / Speed.
- Artifacts: M.O.A.S. or Noble Oath (greedy vs. safe).
- Stat goals: DEF ~3.0k, HP 16–20k, SPD 140–160, Crit 100% / CD 170–220%, EFF 15–35%. Less common but viable; mirrors top Fribbels “Build 3.”
Skill-ups (Mola)
- S3 → +6 first for damage consistency (and because it’s your guaranteed strip + 2-turn DEF Break + self-barrier).
- S1 → to +6 if you rely on frequent DEF Break from counters/dual attacks.
- S2 passive → +3 is optional but bumps CR on hit from 20% to 25%, making her cycle noticeably faster in the front.
Positioning & play tips
- Always front row to refresh Ferocious Stand every turn; that’s what turns single-target drafts into free tempo.
- Counter build = value engine. Every hit pushes her; counter S1 fishes for DEF Breaks and Soulburn chains with your highest ATK ally.
- ER threshold. If you’re light on cleanse, push into 160%+ ER (Build 2) to avoid getting shut down by Unbuffable/Provoke/Restrict. Current community testing targets ~100–150% as a baseline, higher if your comp needs it.
