Arbiter Vildred Build Guide

Here’s a clean, up-to-date build for Arbiter Vildred (ML Vildred) you can use right now, backed by current usage and RTA stats.

Optimal builds (by mode)

Fast cleave (Arena/GvG offense + defense)

  • Sets: Speed/Crit (most common), or Destruction/Torrent for higher burst if you can still hit speed checks.
  • Neck / Ring / Boots: Crit Dmg% / Atk% / Speed.
  • Artifact: Alexa’s Basket (best-in-slot for damage spikes and Greater ATK after revive). Alternatives: Moonlight Dreamblade (evasion/ATK), Portrait of the Saviors (vs >50% HP targets), Double-Edged Decrescent (anti-stealth CR push), Sword of Summer Twilight (strip + damage). Current player usage heavily favors Alexa’s Basket.
  • Stat goals (reference from current RTA data):
    • 100% Crit Chance, ~300–330% Crit Dmg, ~3.9–4.2k Atk, ~220–235 Speed (higher if your opener is slower). These are typical winning profiles in Master–Emperor tiers right now.

Standard fast bruiser-cleave (RTA)

  • Sets: Speed/Crit or Speed/Torrent (popular mix this season).
  • Artifact: Alexa’s Basket (greedy damage), or Moonlight Dreamblade if you want more dodge potential on defense/longer fights.
  • Stat goals: 100% Crit, ~300% CDmg, ~4k Atk, ~225–240 Spd, with enough bulk to not fall over to chip (≈10.5–11k HP, ≈900–1k Def if your gear allows). These target bands mirror high-win RTA aggregates.

High-burst variant (when you can guarantee turn)

  • Sets: Destruction/Torrent or Destruction/Crit. Trade some speed for more raw S3 wipe potential. Seen in winning RTA samples, just less common than Speed-based sets.
  • Artifact: Alexa’s Basket (still #1 for spike); Portrait if you reliably hit into full-HP targets first.

Skill enhance & imprint

  • Mola priority: S3 (Dark Blade) → S2 (Dark Contract) → S1 (Sweep) for PvP; PvE can go S3 → S1 → S2. (Community guide ordering, still relevant.)
  • Imprint: Concentration gives ATK% (best for him); release gives Effectiveness (generally lower value).

Why these choices work (mechanics & data)

  • He scales with ATK (main) and wants enough Speed to enable S3 resets and to capitalize on his revive into ATK up play pattern. Modern winning builds cluster around ~220–235 Speed with ~4k ATK and ~300%+ CDmg.
  • Alexa’s Basket dominance: current aggregated player data shows Alexa’s Basket dwarfs other artifacts on Arby usage; RTA artifact stats also show it performing well on relevant cleavers.

Team pairings & speed tuning

  • Openers / CR pushers / DEF break: Flan, Ran/Lua, Conqueror Lilias, Briar Witch Iseria (strip + anti-revive threat mirror) → Arby. Keep Arby just behind your opener in speed (e.g., Opener 270+, Arby ~230–240). Community cleave discussions and current synergy charts reflect pairing him with meta openers/CR units.

Counterplay you must respect

  • Extinction / anti-revive and CR control/fast openers: Zio, Ran, Briar Witch Iseria, Conqueror Lilias, Arowell, Savior Adin appear frequently among top counters in current RTA data—draft/ban accordingly.

Misc. notes (to avoid misinformation)

  • Exclusive Equipment: Arbiter Vildred does not have official Exclusive Equipment as of Sep 20, 2025 (no EE on his official-data hero pages; Hall of Trials EE listings don’t include him). Beware of fan pages or memes suggesting otherwise.

Imagine a shadow slipping silently across the battlefield—this is Arbiter Vildred.

Once a shining knight of Orbis, his soul was tainted by death and reborn under the Moonlight’s curse. What returned was not a hero, but a relentless executioner—his blade sharpened not by honor, but by vengeance and despair. Where the living falter, he thrives; where the fallen lie, he rises again, stronger, faster, more merciless.

When Arbiter Vildred enters the fray, he does so with theatrical cruelty. He doesn’t fight fair—he overwhelms. His Dark Blade cleaves through entire enemy ranks, and when the enemy dares strike him down, his Dark Contract drags him back from death’s embrace, cloaked in power and fury. His revival is not salvation—it is judgment, marked by the sinister glow of his scythe that reaps without pause.

In the story of Epic Seven, Arby is not just a damage dealer—he is inevitability. He is the lurking terror in cleave comps, the reset button your enemies dread. Players build him to strike first and hardest, because in his hands, speed and devastation are one. He thrives as the centerpiece of aggressive teams: the executioner who punishes hesitation, the revenant who laughs at defeat, and the nightmare who ensures that even when you think you’ve won—you haven’t.

Arbiter Vildred is the embodiment of resurrection and retribution. A unit who demands respect, fear, and preparation—because if you give him even one chance to stand, he will make sure you never stand again.
