Genesis Ras Build Guide

Here’s a practical, up-to-date build guide for Genesis Ras (Light, Knight) that reflects what players are actually running right now, plus what’s been officially released about how to obtain him.

What he is (in short)

A Light Knight with bruiser-DPS statlines who can be built either as a tempo bruiser (counter/punish and survive) or as a burst nuker (take a turn and delete something). Current aggregated gear data shows players leaning into high HP with near-DPS crit stats (avg. ~26.4k HP, ~155 SPD, ~98% CC, ~293% CD, ~1.4k DEF), confirming he scales well with bulk yet meaningfully converts crit stats into damage.

How to get him (official)

Genesis Ras is free via a multi-part “Restoration” mission chain added on Aug 28, 2025 (Episode 4 progress required). There were follow-up mission tweaks in the Sept 11 notes.

Recommended builds

1) Counter Bruiser (safe, flexible)

  • Sets: Counter / HP (or Counter / Immunity)
  • Artifact: Elbris Ritual Sword (extra counters) or Holy Sacrifice (one-time revive). Elbris is the community default on counter knights; Holy Sacrifice is the best safety net if you need guaranteed second life.
  • Stat goals (approx): 22–30k HP • 150–180 SPD • 90–100% CC • 250–320% CD • 1.2k–1.6k DEF (Matches live Fribbels averages and counter-bruiser showcases.)
  • When to use: Longer fights, anti-cleave, and into teams that poke a lot. Counter + Elbris keeps pressure up while Holy Sacrifice covers misreads or opener losses.

2) Burst Nuker (“one-turn delete”)

  • Sets: Destruction / Crit or Destruction / Pen (if you can reach crit chance).
  • Artifact: Wings of Light and Shadow (crit chance + ramps next hit after crit), or Elbris if you still want reactive value. Wings is excellent for single-target sequences on crit-based knights.
  • Stat goals (approx): 18–26k HP • 165–200+ SPD (or 120–150 if using CR push support) • 95–100% CC • 300–350%+ CD • 1.0k–1.4k DEF.
  • When to use: Arena offense/cleave or drafts where you can guarantee turn order and secure a kill. Recent arena/RTA videos demonstrate reliable one-turn deletes with this setup.

3) “Reversal” Revive-Tempo (new set synergy)

  • Sets: Reversal (4pc) + HP/Immunity (2pc). Reversal’s new design gives speed and adds revive-based tempo; players combo it with knight revives for swing turns.
  • Artifact: Holy Sacrifice (guaranteed revive at +30), to trigger Reversal’s on-revive tempo and immediately re-enter the fight. Community testing highlights a CR push on revive with Reversal builds.
  • When to use: Drafts where he’s likely to be focused first; you trade early death for tempo and comeback potential. Early showcases label this as “feels immortal” when tuned with HP and ER/DEF.

Artifacts (current best picks)

  • Elbris Ritual Sword – universal counter value on knights; staples the bruiser path.
  • Holy Sacrifice – one-time revive (100% at +30) with barrier; pairs perfectly with Reversal concepts.
  • Wings of Light and Shadow – +15% Crit Chance and damage ramp after crit; great for the nuker set. ([Epic Seven Wiki for Beginners][4])

(Epic7DB’s live Fribbels scrape currently shows Elbris/Holy Sac/Wings among the top used artifacts on Genesis Ras.)

Imprint & awakening priorities

  • Imprint Concentration: HP% (up to +18% at SSS) – best for all builds given his bruiser profile.
  • Release (Team): ATK%—nice to have if you don’t need the personal bulk.
  • Awakenings: Prioritize survivability nodes as they unlock more HP/DEF along the way. (See Epic7DB for the exact spread.)

Speed tuning & substat tips

  • Bruiser/Counter: 150–170 SPD is a sweet spot so he cycles reliably without gutting bulk; push higher if you need to lap enemy supports.
  • Nuker: Hit 95–100% Crit Chance and stack Crit Damage; run higher SPD (165–200+) if you’re self-reliant, or lower if you draft CR pushers. Recent arena clips run both variants successfully.
  • ER vs. Eff: Most builds sit low Eff and modest ER (10–30%) because he prefers raw damage/bulk; slot ER only if your team plan needs it. (Matches current aggregate.)

Team ideas (quick picks)

  • For Nuker: Pair with CR pushers / buffers (e.g., general ATK/crit buffers) to guarantee his turn and amplify the first hit. Community showcases emphasize simple “buff → Ras nukes” shells.
  • For Counter Bruiser: Draft into poke/heavy multi-hit teams; let Elbris procs and counter set grind them out.
  • For Reversal: Run him as the focus magnet; Holy Sacrifice + Reversal creates a tempo swing on revive (big CR push), letting you flip fights.

In the chronicles of Orbis, there was once a young knight named Ras who carried the burden of being the Heir of the Covenant. He was a protector, a stalwart shield for those too weak to defend themselves. But time and countless battles hardened him, shaped him. The boy who once only defended grew into something more—someone who carried both shield and blade with equal mastery.

When Ras ascended into his Genesis form, it was as though the stars themselves had reforged him. The radiance of Light coursed through his armor, his blade no longer just a tool of defense but a weapon of reckoning. Enemies who sought to strike him down found themselves punished, each blow turned back against them, as if the cosmos demanded balance for every act of aggression.

Unlike the steadfast protector of old, Genesis Ras is a knight who fights to end battles swiftly. He carries the authority of the first covenant, striking with destructive force that rivals the strongest warriors. Yet, his armor still glows with protective light, granting him resilience beyond mortal measure. When foes manage to slay him, it is not the end—for from death he rises again, like a star that refuses to fade, turning the tide of battle with each rebirth.

He is both bulwark and blade:

  • A counter-bruiser, who punishes those reckless enough to strike him.
  • A nuker, whose one decisive swing can cut down the mightiest foe.
  • A revival-tempo warrior, who bends defeat into opportunity, reviving to lead his allies to victory.

Genesis Ras is not just a knight. He is the embodiment of persistence, of balance, of inevitability. He is the proof that light, though it may falter, always finds a way to shine again.
